10-33 Assistance Program

Back The Blue NC, Inc. started on July 6th, 2020 as a Facebook group to help unite our North Carolina Law Enforcement Officers, families, and supporters. After immediate tremendous growth, it became our goal to support and honor the men and women in blue through community events and fundraising. Then on September 10th, 2020 NC lost its first Officer since our formation - Deputy Ryan Hendrix of the Henderson County Sheriff's Office. Deputy Hendrix was shot and killed after responding to a reported attempted vehicle break-in, leaving behind a fiancée and his two young children.

At that moment that Back The Blue NC's mission changed - to help support the families of officers killed in the line of duty. Our first beneficiary payout was made to his two children in the sum of $10,000 it was deposited into their trust funds.

Since then, we have helped assist several other families of officers killed in the line of duty. To provide these families with financial assistance during these difficult times, we rely on donations such as yours. That's why we have established the 10-33 Assistance Program, named after the police 'radio 10 code', 10-33, "officer needs assistance".

You can subscribe to become a monthly donor below or send us a one-time donation - 100% of the proceeds will go to our 10-33 Assistance Program Fund for any families who may need our assistance in the future.

When you join the monthly 10-33 program you will receive this BTBNC lapel pin that you can wear with pride to show you support law enforcement and Back The Blue NC!
